Privacy Policy

Set Cheater is a tool for building lens and cast cheat sheets. It is not an advertising business and it does not have a data business. This policy explains what the app touches and what it doesn't.

What stays on your device

Everything you build lives on the device you built it on. That includes:

• Saved lens sheets and cast sheets, including titles, cast names and characters
• Your colour, font, border and layout preferences
• Custom lens series and individual lenses you've added yourself
• Favourited series, filter settings and your light/dark appearance choice

None of it is uploaded to a server belonging to Set Cheater, and none of it is visible to anyone else. Deleting the app removes it. This stays true once you have an account — signing in tells the app what you've paid for, it does not send your sheets anywhere.

iCloud

If you're signed in to iCloud, custom lens front diameters you add are mirrored through your own private iCloud account so they follow you between your devices. That data is held in your Apple account, governed by Apple's privacy policy — it is not readable by Set Cheater's developer and is never shared with other users.

The lens database

The built-in lens database is delivered to the app read-only. Fetching it does not involve sending your sheets, your identity, or anything you've typed.

Your account

Set Cheater uses Firebase Authentication, run by Google, to handle sign-up, sign-in and password resets. What that holds is your email address and a password you never send us in readable form — password checking and resets happen inside Firebase, and the developer cannot read your password.

Alongside it, one record per account stores whether you currently have full access: whether a subscription is active and when the paid period ends. It also holds a reference number that links your account to your customer record at the payment company, so a renewal a year from now can find you. That record is written by the payment systems, never by the app on your device.

Paying for it

Subscriptions bought on the web are handled by Stripe, and subscriptions bought inside the iPhone or iPad app are handled by Apple. Your card number goes to whichever of those you paid through — it never reaches Set Cheater's developer, and it is not stored on your device or in the app's database. All the app is ever told is whether your access is currently active and when it runs out.

If you were given free access as a beta tester, that grant is recorded against your email address so it's waiting for you when you sign up.

Analytics and advertising

Set Cheater contains no third-party analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no tracking identifiers. It does not build a profile of you and there is nothing to opt out of.

Photos and files

Exporting a sheet as a PDF or an image uses the system share sheet and, if you choose to save a wallpaper, writes that one image to your photo library. The app requests access to your photo library only at the moment you ask it to save something, and it does not read your existing photos. Title graphics you add are read from the file you pick and stored with your sheet on the device.

This website

If you enter your email address on the launch-notification form, it is stored solely to send you one message when the app is released. It is not sold, rented or added to any other list. Ask and it will be deleted.

Children

Set Cheater is a professional tool and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it, and material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
